There are no fixed specifications for dealing with job application documents. The following categories of personal data will usually have to be dealt with:

Storage period

Job application data of candidates who have been turned down, will be deleted after 3 months, so that they remain available within the two-month objection period pursuant to Article 15, sub-section 4, of the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG). Data from applicants will be blocked during this retention period; data of successful applicants will be transferred to the personnel file.
